Hello Simmers! Here's a guide on how to install Sims 4 CC
(Custom Content).

🟡 1. Download the CC:
Find the CC you like on reputable websites like ModTheSims, TheSimsResource, or SFS, a.k.a. Sims for Share.
Download the files, which are usually in.package,.zip, or.rar format.
Here's a sample on my own website since I am also creating CC content. Download the Sims CC content; it is in .package file.
After downloading, cut or copy the file and paste it into your Sims mod folder.
🟡 2. Let's locate the Mods folder:
For Windows: Navigate to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods
For Mac users: Go to Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
🟡 3. If the "Mods" folder doesn't exist, then create one. But usually, it should be there.
If the CC you downloaded is zipped or in a rar file, then unzip it first and then copy it to the mods folder. Alright, babes, you need to extract zip and rar files, or it will not work.
🟡 4. Now you need to enable mods and CC in-game.
Launch The Sims 4.
Open the Game Options menu.
Go to the "Other" tab.
Tick the boxes for "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed."
Save the changes and restart the game.
And that's it; you can now enjoy the CC's you downloaded in-game. Just a reminder to check for updates from creators regularly to ensure compatibility with game patches. Peace, and see you all in the official forums and gallery.

TRAY FILES AND MOD FILES ARE DIFFERENT!
TRAY = SIM HOUSEHOLD, LOTS, HOUSES
MOD = CLOTHES, MAKEUP, WALLPAPERS,ETC.
To install Sims 4 CC Tray Files and Mod Files, follow these steps:
Navigate to your Sims 4 mods/tray directory. The path should be something similar to "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods/Tray".
Move the extracted CC Tray Files and Mod Files to the Mods/Tray folder. If you extract multiple files, be sure to place each one separately in the Mods/Tray folder.
Start The Sims 4 and select "Enable Custom Content and Mods" from the Game Options menu. Your CC Tray Files and Mod Files should be available in-game.
