THE ENTITLEMENT OF MEN

The entitlement of men to date women is a pervasive problem that has been around for centuries. It is rooted in the idea that men are superior to women and that women owe them attention and affection. This entitlement can manifest in a variety of ways, from men catcalling women on the street to men harassing women online. In some cases, it can even lead to violence.

One of the most common ways that men express their entitlement is by expecting women to date them simply because they showed them attention. This can happen even if the woman has made it clear that she is not interested. For example, a man might approach a woman in a bar and start talking to her. If she is polite and engages in conversation, he might take that as a sign that she is interested in him. He might then start to pressure her to go on a date with him, even if she has already said no.

In other cases, men might become angry and aggressive if a woman rejects their advances. They might call her names, threaten her, or even physically assault her. This type of behavior is often fueled by the belief that women owe men their attention and that they have the right to punish women who refuse to give it to them.

The entitlement of men to date women is a serious problem that has a real impact on women's lives. It can make women feel unsafe and uncomfortable, and it can prevent them from living their lives freely. It is important to challenge this entitlement and to call out men who behave in this way. We need to teach men that women are not objects to be possessed and that they have the right to say no without fear of reprisal.

In addition to the entitlement of men to date women, there is also the phenomenon of men bullying women who have rejected their advances. This type of bullying can take many forms, including online harassment, spreading rumors, and physical intimidation. The goal of this bullying is to punish women for rejecting men and to make them feel ashamed and humiliated.

The bullying of women by men who have been rejected is a serious problem that can have a devastating impact on the victim's mental and emotional health. It can lead to feelings of fear, anxiety, and depression. In some cases, it can even lead to suicide.

It is important to remember that women are not to blame for the bullying they experience. They are not responsible for the actions of men who feel entitled to their attention and affection. If you have been bullied by a man who has rejected your advances, please know that you are not alone. There are resources available to help you cope with the emotional and psychological impact of this type of abuse.

🟡If you are experiencing bullying from a man who has rejected your advances, here are some things you can do:

🌿 Talk to a trusted friend or family member about what is happening. They can offer support and help you to develop a plan to deal with the situation.

🌿 Report the bullying to the authorities. This could include the police, your school, or your workplace.

🌿 Seek professional help from a therapist or counselor. They can help you to deal with the emotional and psychological impact of bullying.

🌿 It is important to remember that you are not alone and that there are people who can help you. You do not have to suffer in silence.
